We are looking for ELT teachers or teacher trainers from all over the world to speak at the Advancing Learning New Voices online event on Wednesday 25th September! Submit your talk by 30th July 2024.

What will the chosen speakers receive?

We understand the amount of work that needs to go into a training session, which is why we would like to offer the speakers more than just the chance to speak at the New Voices event:

  • A 15-minute spot to speak at the Advancing Learning New Voices event on Wednesday 25th September at 10am, 2pm and 1030pm UK time
  • A seat at a NILE Online teacher training course
  • Webinar best practice training session prior to New Voices live event, along with additional support where needed
  • A Certificate of Participation

How do you submit?

The submission form is short and simple. You will need to provide the following:

  • A single 2-minute video sample of your talk
  • The title and 60-word abstract for your talk
  • Your response to the following: What impact do you hope to have on the ELT community with this talk? (100 words)

Please be sure to read through the New Voices Terms before submitting.

What is the judging criteria?

We’re looking for talks that not only inspire teachers but offer them tried and tested, practical ideas to enhance their students’ learning experience.

Is there one unique thing about the talk you wish to give? Is the format different from other webinars? Are the ideas original in some way? Is there something new about the way you create your ppt slides?

Clear, engaging and motivating delivery of a teacher training session is essential, so make sure to make the best of the video sample of your talk when you submit!
