Volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous – a description that many language schools’ owners and managers may relate to when reflecting on their experience of running a language school in recent years. In this session, Lucy Horsefield shares some approaches learned through the experience of navigating this challenging period and more recently through my studies in Organisational Psychology. I will also discuss recent shifts in English language learning and the implications for language schools.
