The Alares Foundation carries out social improvement projects focusing on the social and professional integration of people with various disabilities.

The corporate volunteering initiative organized by Macmillan Education Iberia and Alares Foundation consisted of offering classes to learn English to a group of people with disabilities, in order to increase their job prospects.  17 sessions were carried out between November 2022 and March 2023 by a number of volunteers from Macmillan Iberia.

The classes included grammar practice and reinforced the students' speaking and listening skills. Macmillan Education Iberia donated the teaching materials and textbooks used to teach English in the classes.

The students valued this initiative very positively, both the donated books and the dynamics of the classes and the role of the volunteers acting as teachers.  In one of the photos, you can see the virtual class with all the volunteer people of Macmillan Iberia as well as the students of the Alares Foundation.
