David Crystal is an Honorary Professor of Linguistics at Bangor University and works from his home in Holyhead, North Wales, as a writer, editor, lecturer, and broadcaster. He has written or edited many books and articles for scholarly, professional, and general readerships on the history and development of English, including Let's Talk: How English Conversation Works and The Gift of he Gab: How Eloquence Works. Sarah Hillyard is based in London, UK and holds a Masters Degree in Teaching English to Young Learners from the University of York, UK. She has been teacher and coordinator at pre-primary level and is now ELT academic consultant for bilingual schools. She is tutor on NILE’s online course “Teaching English in Pre-Primary Education”. She delivers webinars and sessions at conferences as a teacher trainer. She has written articles and blog posts focusing on teaching English to young learners, and is co-author and series consultant for Pearson‘s pre-primary course “Little Stars” and primary course “Our Stories”.

Susan Hillyard has a B.Ed. (Hons.) Warwick University, UK. In her 52 yearlong career in 17 countries her roles include Teacher, HOD, Trainer, Conference and Webinar Presenter, Workshop Facilitator, Materials Writer and Researcher. She is Director of SHELTA, offering consultancy, PPD, EMI and courses on teaching English Creatively to Teachers worldwide.

Will Rixon was a teacher and trainer for over 10 years, working with language teachers and students in Indonesia, the Netherlands, Ethiopia, Nepal and finally, the UK. With a CELTA and DELTA in hand, he ventured into the world of ELT publishing and ended in his dream job at Macmillan Education as the Global Engagement & Content Manager from 2020 to date.

Paula Rosana Asad is a graduate teacher from Profesorado de Inglés Dr. Julio Cesar Avanza, Mindful Educator and Neuropsicoeducadora from Asociacion Educar para el Desarrollo Humano. She is the founder and also a headteacher at Dream Up! Academia de Ingles in Bahia Blanca. President of APIBB (Asociacion de Profesores de Ingles de Bahia Blanca), teacherprenuer and teacher trainer.

Emma Reynolds is an mindfulness expert, seasoned speaker for Macmillan on all things Mindful, as well as a teacher trainer and content creator. Chia Suan Chong is an author of Successful International Communication, communication skills trainer and teacher trainer, specialising in the development of soft skills and future-ready skills. Based in York, Chia holds a DELTA and Masters in Applied Linguistics, and is the co-author for the course series VOICES (National Geographic Learning) and the Pearson ELTD – a 120-hour online teacher training course.

Anna Parr-Modrzejewska is a TEFL university lecturer specialising in Young Learners education, coursebooks author and teacher trainer. Her qualifications include a PhD in linguistics, MA in English, BA in Young Learners Pedagogy and MA in Pedagogical Therapy.

Małgorzata Kobierzycka is an accomplished educator with extensive experience as a teacher for students aged 10–19, a teacher trainer, and a university lecturer. Dr. Jeff Kuhn is an instructional designer at Ohio University who has worked with educators in over twenty countries. Jeff holds a Master's in linguistics and a PhD in education. Most recently, Jeff conducted a course for the U.S. Department of State on integrating artificial intelligence into the language classroom.

Myriam Monterrubio is a certified English teacher trained at “Anglo Mexican Institute” and Bell College in England, with a background in psychology. Since 1987, she has been dedicated to teacher training, conducting seminars across Latin America, Egypt, Jordan, Spain, and the United States Mrs. Monterrubio is the co-author of five successful kindergarten series. She is currently coordinating the bilingual program in 35 Daughters of Charity schools in Andalusia, Spain.

Ana Caballero has over fifteen years of experience teaching English and Spanish as second languages. She is also an Arts teacher passionate about finding new ways of using learning tools in the classroom. She has been doing freelance writing for a few years and loves bouncing on a trampoline.

Usoa Sol is a secondary school teacher from Barcelona with over 20 years' teaching experience. She won the John McDowell-British Council Award in 2013, and is the former president of APAC, the English Teachers’ Association in Catalonia. She has collaborated as a teacher trainer and materials writer for Macmillan Education for many years, and has also worked as an associated lecturer at Universitat Ramon Llull-Blanquerna. She is particularly interested in teen psychology and firmly believes in the power of ICT and personalisation as the main element to motivate students.

Alicja Gałązka is a professor at the University of Silesia, a psychotherapist, psychologist, an international licenced coach and an international master trainer of Positive Psychology, NLP&Mindfulness. A President of ICI ( International Coaching Institute ) in Poland and a head of the Language Centre and Training Centre FUTURE in Poland. She is an author of over 300 articles published in Polish and English and numerous books. An active member of IDEA, National Drama Association and IATEFL. Has been researching and practising drama for years. Her main interest is psychology and drama in the ELT classroom. A coordinator and participant of many international projects. Coordinator of two SIGs: Psychology in ELT and Drama in ELT in IATEFL Poland. A regional adviser for Trinity College London in Poland, a teacher trainer cooperating with many international educational organisations. Working in two main sectors: Medicine and Education. She actively works with teachers, school managers and pupils to develop their well-being and resilience.

Joanna Szoke is a freelance teacher trainer, AI in education specialist, and learning designer. She teaches English as a foreign language to adults, trains pre-service and in-service teachers in various programs, and is a regular presenter at TEFL conferences. At the moment, she’s working on a book on AI literacy development, to be published in 2025.

Polina Venglovskaia with over 12 years of experience in teaching ESL and 5 years as Director of Studies, has built a career focused on educational innovation, language teaching, and teacher development. She is passionate about innovative teaching tools and ed content creation. As a Community Manager at Amazy.uk, she connects with a global network of teachers, organises interactive workshops, and webinars.

Claire Hart is an educator based in Germany who has 20 years' experience in ELT. She's taught at all levels from primary to adult education and now works mainly as an author and project manager. As someone who lives with autism and ADHD, Claire is passionate about helping teachers to better understand neurodiverse students.

Boelo van der Pool has 30+ years of experience in ELT. He is a language coach, course developer, and teacher trainer. Being dyslexic and ADHD himself, he has developed inclusive ADHD and dyslexia-friendly language teaching strategies. Boelo is a board member of the European Dyslexia Group as well as the International Language Coaching Association.

Wiktoria Allan has over ten years’ experience in ELT and currently teaches and coordinates English at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin). She is also pursuing her PhD in Linguistics and English Language at Lancaster University, researching the effectiveness of accommodations in language testing for students with ADHD.
