KiVa corporate volunteering with the Balia Foundation

Fundación Balia is a Spanish NGO that works with children who are at risk of social exclusion. A group of students in the 4th-5th grade of primary school (around 10 years old) where the highest rate of bullying is currently detected received KiVa lessons from official trainers of the Macmillan Iberia KiVa programme, focused on developing the emotional competencies necessary to improve coexistence in the group and prevent possible cases of violence between peers, also providing them with useful lifelong learning tools. KiVa is a bullying prevention programme, part of Macmillan Iberia’s services portfolio. The sessions took place from September 2022 to May 2023, one session per month.
